The Giant surfboard - Tom Blake~The giant surfboard Kalaheuwehe was named after the biggest swells that would break a mile out to sea at Waikiki. It was Tom Blake’s favourite surfboard – probably about 16 feet long and modelled on the ancient Olo boards of the Hawaiian Kings and Queens. Here Tom is photographed with a couple of admirers in 1937.
